Between a “Yes” and a “No”

During these difficult moments of coronavirus, we may become more sensitive to a “no” than in normal times which is understandable.

So what should we do?

Positive thinking is not magic, it requires a number of skills to help you approach hardship in a more positive and productive way.

Positive self-talk is one of the best ways to start and to focus on the positive side of life like: “is my cup half full or half empty?”

Practise gratitude to improve your self-esteem and unconditional love.

Our sense of humor improves our mood, especially when spending time with positive people.

Listen to good music and happy songs.

Give compliments or do something nice for someone.

All of these things keep your psychological and physical health balanced, your energy levels high, and help manage your stress and your emotions.

With some practice, you can learn how to approach life with a more positive outlook.
