Gut Feelings

Fear and anxiety often arise from false narratives in our minds. Even severe anxiety, such as panic attacks, starts with negative thoughts. The mind can create many worst-case scenarios, leading to anxiety and terror. However, intense feelings do not confirm that your thoughts are accurate. Instead, they indicate that our thinking may be misguided and that we are convincing ourselves of a lie.

When you experience anxiety, you can usually focus on what is causing your worry, but this feeling arose without any clear reason; it feels thick and dark, like a heavy weight that goes with anxiety.

Let’s view things differently. Seeing things clearly comes from appreciating our emotions, whether positive or negative, and recognizing that they guide us through our gut feelings or instincts. You consciously decided to pay attention to and trust them. After few negative experiences, such as losing money, we learn to feel grateful for those bad experiences, wishing we had trusted our instincts more before investing. This awareness has shifted our perspective, highlighting the importance of tuning into our gut feelings or instincts to make better choices and decisions.
